With over 30 years of hands-on salon experience, Nina Christmas is a licensed cosmetology instructor and continuing education provider, uniquely qualified to train and elevate beauty professionals at every stage of their careers. Her expertise spans technical mastery, business acumen, and industry leadership, making her an ideal Guest Instructor for beauty schools and a top choice for continuing education opportunities.

Nina’s journey in the beauty industry began at just 11 years old, shampooing hair for her mother’s stylist in Chicago. She graduated from Hyde Park Career Academy, now located across from the Barack Obama Presidential Library, and attended Pivot Point International Beauty Academy on Howard Street in Chicago. After becoming a licensed cosmetologist, she enrolled at Clark Atlanta University, initially majoring in Business Marketing and Decision Sciences, before earning a Bachelor’s in Psychology.

She later attended Empire Beauty School in Kennesaw, GA, for teacher training, solidifying her role as an industry educator. Competing and placing in Bronner Brothers Beauty Show competitions in Atlanta, Nina expanded her reach as a Platinum Icon platform artist with Naitcole Michelle International, educating professionals at top industry events, including:

• Premiere Beauty Show (Birmingham, Dallas, Orlando, and Ohio)
• International Beauty Show (New York and Los Angeles)
• Bronner Brothers Hair Show (Atlanta)
• America’s Beauty Show (Chicago)

She also became certified as a Hair Loss Practitioner with the United States Trichology Institute.

As a licensed cosmetology instructor in Illinois, Georgia, and Arizona, Nina has trained thousands of students through beauty school instruction and continuing education courses. She has owned and operated salons in Chicago and Atlanta, and previously served as the Lead Stylist and Creative Director at Huetiful Salon, before launching her own Nina Christmas Training Salon.

Most recently, Nina earned a Master’s in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, giving her expertise in business strategy, workforce development, and educational leadership. She is passionate about helping beauty professionals refine their skills, grow their businesses, and elevate industry standards.
